“We feel pain and sorrow. We know how difficult life will be without a father,” said Umar’s son Maqsood, speaking to Miles2Smile.
Umar Khan (42) was shot dead allegedly by self-proclaimed ‘gau rakshaks’ (cow vigilantes) on the suspicion of smuggling cows in November 2017.
Umar and his three companions were allegedly transporting some cows from Alwar to a village in Bharatpur. They were on their way to Bharatpur when the ‘gau rakshaks’ stopped, attacked with firearms, and killed Omar.
Umar had dreams of building a house, but unfortunately he left the world before accomplishing it. His death occurred several years ago, but the family still struggles financially, and building a house seems like a daunting task to them.
But is it really difficult for us to build it? We cannot bring Omar back but can certainly build his house. This house will provide a place of satisfaction and a roof of happiness for Umar’s family.
Let us together help Umar’s family get a roof and a place to sleep comfortably. Umar’s house will cost Rs. 3,35,000 but the happiness from it will linger.
How will this amount be used?
For the construction of roof: Rs 2, 50,000
For Electric fittings: Rs. 25,000
Plumbing and kitchen: Rs. 40,000
Painting: Rs. 20,000
Let us together lay the bricks of Umar’s house and put smiles on the faces of his family.
