How would you feel if you have to leave your house fearing for your life and that of your children? What would you go through if you come to learn that your home, where your children grew up, played and learnt, was looted and burnt? This was precisely what the family of Aabid Khan (30) had to go through. They lived in Karawal Nagar area of Northeast Delhi. He, his wife, Hina (23) along with their two sons, Zaid (7) and Zareek (2.5). Aabid is a daily wage labourer who works as a swing machine worker. It was pretty hard already for him to be able to make both ends meet for his family on top of his illness. His elder son never went to school because of the same reason.
We decided to put an end to this estate of theirs. With the grace of Almighty, we have been able to shift them into an alternate accomodation where we have provided them with utensils and ration also. Our main objective is to kick start the studies of Zaid who is already 7 years of age. Nothing can better the life of an individual as much as getting educated. Zaid was totally delighted to recieve his Motu-Patlu bag. The joy is quite evident from his face itself and we can't wait to see his joy when he finally begins his studies which may pave a way for a better future of his.
